Emma at the office.

Emma came to work with me again the other day for our Christmas lunch.  She was all dressed up but got a little warm so we had to go cool off in my office.  (If you can't tell I like to take pictures with my phone!)  Amazingly she really didn't feel well and actually has two more ear infections.  I hate it when she's sick but she's getting better now.  We hope you all have a Merry Christmas!  I'll post some more pics of all the kiddos soon.

Kohen Rorey!!

Ok, so I know I'm a little late with this, but I have a new nephew!  His name is Kohen Rorey and he is officially 1 week and 2 days old.  He's pretty cute and Craig and Mikaela are doing a great job.  I like being an aunt.  It's so much different than being a Mom.  I get to hold him and spoil him and then I get to send him home with someone else.  It rocks!

My Little Snow Baby!

Well I'm sure most of you know or have also been experiencing the winter weather we've had the last few days. It's pretty dreary and icy here so I had to bundle up Emma yesterday and bring her to work with me for a few hours. When we were leaving she was so excited, I had to take a few pictures. Emma is my little Snow Baby but she's also good at brightening my day when it seems so cold and drab. Hopefully she can do the same for everyone else. Enjoy!

More tries for a Christmas pic

I've been trying for several weeks now to get some good pics of the kids to use for Christmas cards. As you can tell it is pretty difficult to get the boys to want to take any pictures and it is pretty much impossible for all three children to look at me and smile at the same time. Some of these turned out pretty cute and I got some really good ones of Emma, but I think I'm just going to have to bribe the boys to get them to cooperate. They aren't really into dressing up and looking cute for me anymore. Go figure. At least Emma didn't seem quite as disturbed by the leaves as she did the last time. Oh and if you couldn't tell she is sitting up all by herself now! She's growing so fast! And speaking of growing up fast-my other baby, Luke, will be ELEVEN years old next Tuesday! I'm a little depressed about it. I think I'm ready for him to stop getting older now.

A Few Things I'm Thankful For......

Well it's the time of year to reflect upon all the wonderful things we have to be thankful for. I'm sure we all have material things or hobbies or activities (like Guitar Hero III for example, which me and my family just so happen to be addicted to) that bring us happiness, but nothing can ever replace the people in our lives that mean the most to us. We usually take these people for granted and never tell them nearly enough how much they really mean to us. I know I don't anyway, so I thought I would post a blog in honor of the people in my life that I would not be able to live without. Of course I couldn't post a picture of all the people I'm thankful for-so those that aren't posted include-my Mom (the best one in the world by the way), my dad, my step dad, my in-laws, my brothers and Ron's brothers, my sisters-in-laws, all my grandmothers, my aunts and uncles, all my cousins, and all my wonderful friends! I love all of you and if I haven't told you in awhile, thank you for making my life a wonderful, crazy, hilarious adventure!!

Fall is here!!

The boys and some of their friends decided to make a leaf pile yesterday. We had more than enough leaves in our yard, but the boys told me they asked the neighbors if they could "borrow" some of their leaves. I thought this was pretty hilarious. Like those neighbors are going to want those leaves back! Anyway, after an hour or so the pile was pretty big and was perfect for jumping into. I decided to go get a few pics of the kids before the pile reached it's ultimate fate. Emma wasn't too excited about those leaves. She was already doing the girly thing and looked at me like I was crazy for sitting her down in those filthy things! The boys loved it and of course now we have more leaves in our yard than we started out with and they are in several piles all over the place! Oh well-it's fall and that's what yards are supposed to look like, right?

How 'bout those Sooners!

Ron took the boys to their first OU game this weekend! The boys had a good time and got to witness a blowout over Texas A&M. Ron really enjoyed watching the boys' expressions when they were watching all the pre-game festivities. I'm glad they all had a little time away and had some much needed "guy time." GO SOONERS!!!

Poor Little Emma Grace!

Well unfortunately I have a sad little story to post today. Emma was sick last week and so we went to the doctor Friday and found out she has pneumonia again. She had it about a month ago and has it again. The doctors are also concerned that she may have some asthma problems as well. So because of that, we had to get a machine for her to do breathing treatments with. The first time she had to use it, honestly, it broke my heart. She just sat there with the little mask on her face and breathed in all the medicine. It was so sad because it was like she knew she needed it and she knew it helped her. Once I composed myself, I snapped a few pictures with my phone. She is starting to feel better and now she hates the breathing treatments, but she still has to do them for a little longer. Anyway, I know everyone wanted to see Halloween pics but I don't have very many because she was already starting to feel bad and she didn't want to stay in her costume very long. I will get some more pics on here soon, I promise!

So I guess I'll give blogging a try!

I thought I would try my hand at blogging since it seems to be the thing to do lately. Here are a few pics of the kiddos to get us started.
